Excellence in all breed professional dog handling
Tina Secord
At a very young age, I had a love for all animals. I was recruited by my mother, Kit Goodrich, to help show her Welsh Springers at age seven. My love for dog showing and breeding quickly grew. Throughout nine years of 4H, I showed dogs and goats. I was able to show horses, cattle, pigs, and sheep as well. Junior showmanship was also an excellent learning experience while my skills as a handler developed. I have had experience with training dogs in obedience, rally, and agility. In 2007, I moved to Texas to work with Colette Livingston when I decided to pursue a career in professional handling. The time in Texas allowed me to become even more versatile in all breed dog handling as I was able to groom and handle many breeds from all seven groups. Now, I have returned to Colorado to start a business with my mom in all breed dog handling. During the week, I work as a professional groomer at Fort Collins Animal Hospital and Wellington Veterinary Clinic. Working with dogs has become an incredible passion of mine, and I enjoy being around dogs every day of my life.
